Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Jacobo Tech ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you access or use JT GEO (the "Service") at https://jtgeo.online and related subdomains.
By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use the Service.
Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly, information generated through your use of the Service, and limited technical data necessary to operate, secure, and improve the platform.
The categories of information we process depend on how you interact with JT GEO, whether you maintain a free or paid subscription, and which analyzers or dashboards you use.
Account Information
When you register for an account, we collect information such as your name, email address, and authentication credentials. Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing; we do not store plaintext passwords.
If you sign in using email-based authentication (including magic-link or one-time codes), we process your email address to deliver login messages and to associate your activity with your account.
Account settings, subscription tier, usage limits, and billing status may also be stored to provide the Service and enforce plan features.
Email Addresses
We use your email address to create and manage your account, send authentication messages, deliver product notifications related to your use of the Service, and respond to support requests you initiate.
We do not sell your email address to third parties. We may use your email to send important service announcements, security notices, or changes to our terms or policies. Marketing emails, if any, will include an option to opt out where required by law.
Usage Data
When you run analyses (including SEO, GEO, AEO, ASO, YouTube, competitor comparisons, or AI visibility tracking), we store the inputs you submit (such as URLs, keywords, or channel identifiers) and the resulting reports, scores, and recommendations generated by the Service.
We record usage counts to enforce subscription limits, maintain analysis history in your dashboard, and improve product reliability. Usage data may include timestamps, feature names, and aggregate consumption metrics tied to your account.
You may delete individual analyses or clear your analysis history from the dashboard where those features are provided. Deletion removes associated records from our application database subject to backup and retention practices described below.
Analytics Data
We may collect aggregated or pseudonymous analytics about how visitors and signed-in users interact with our website and application, such as pages viewed, referrers, device type, browser type, and general geographic region derived from IP address.
Analytics help us understand feature adoption, diagnose performance issues, and improve usability. Where possible, we use analytics in aggregate form that does not identify individual users.
We do not use analytics data to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you.
Data Retention
We retain account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you request account deletion or close your account, we will delete or anonymize personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or billing purposes.
Analysis results and reports are retained according to your use of the product and your deletion actions within the dashboard. Backup copies may persist for a limited time before being overwritten.
Server logs and security records may be retained for a shorter defined period to investigate abuse, protect the Service, and comply with applicable obligations.
Security
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and secure credential handling.
No method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
If we become aware of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
Third-Party Services
We rely on trusted third-party providers to host infrastructure, process payments, deliver email, and operate core platform features. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual terms appropriate to their role.
When you submit a URL or public content for analysis, our systems may retrieve publicly available web pages or API data from third-party sources solely to perform the analysis you requested. We do not control third-party websites and encourage you to review their privacy practices separately.
Neon Database
Account data, analysis results, subscription records, and related application data are stored in PostgreSQL databases provided by Neon Tech, Inc. Data is hosted in secure cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest as provided by the vendor.
Vercel Hosting
Our website and application are deployed on Vercel, Inc. infrastructure. Vercel may process request metadata (such as IP address, user agent, and timestamps) to deliver pages, run serverless functions, and protect against abuse.
Gumroad Billing
Paid subscriptions are processed through Gumroad, Inc. When you purchase a Pro plan, Gumroad collects payment information and license details according to Gumroad's privacy policy. We receive confirmation of your purchase and license status to activate Pro features in JT GEO; we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing or withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.
You can update account details from your dashboard settings where available. To request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, contact us using the details in the Contact Information section below. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of certain sharing; we do not sell personal information as defined under California law.
Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under 16 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States, where our service providers operate. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place when transferring data internationally.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
